Description
For a partner in the medical device diabetes care sector, we are seeking a motivated Account Manager to manage and grow key accounts across pharmacies, hospitals, and healthcare practitioners in Central Switzerland (Bern, Solothurn, Basel, Lucerne). You will drive sales performance, build strong customer relationships, and expand market presence through data-driven insights, regional strategy development, and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
- Manage and execute HCP and pharmacy visits, workshops, and events to ensure strong product positioning
- Analyze market trends and sales data to define priorities and optimize regional performance
- Develop and implement account strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share
- Identify, acquire, and onboard new customers within the assigned territory
- Deliver on account plans while identifying short- and long-term growth opportunities
- Collaborate across business units to support company strategy and strengthen internal alignment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent; Master’s preferred
- 5+ years of sales experience in the Swiss healthcare or medical device industry
- Strong pharmacy and hospital network
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with proven stakeholder management abilities and relationship-building
- Fluency in German and English; French is an advantage
- High level of self-motivation, adaptability, and willingness to travel frequently within the region
