*REMOTE ROLE*
We are seeking a motivated and energetic individual with a scientific background to support drug discovery activities. The Scientist in Translational Biology and Biomarker Development will assist the directors in executing and analyzing biomarker and pharmacology studies, as well as exploring new HAE disease indications.
Role and Responsibilities
- Contribute scientific evaluation and literature analysis to support therapeutic rationales for new bradykinin-mediated indications.
- Propose design and analysis strategies for biomarker and pharmacology studies with contract research organizations (CROs).
- Analyze data from biomarker and pharmacology studies and present findings to the team.
- Engage with clinicians and key opinion leaders in various therapeutic areas.
- Report and communicate results promptly to direct manager and cross-functional project teams.
- Assist in preparing scientific reports and publications.
- Stay current with scientific advancements and integrate new data into research strategies.
Profile
- PhD in (Medical) Biology, Pharmacy, Biopharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Strong skills in data analysis, management, and record-keeping.
- Proficiency with tools for advanced data visualization, analysis, and integration, along with familiarity with statistical methods.
- Experience with machine learning algorithms and/or omics analysis tools is a significant plus.
