Manager Project Engineering CAPEX & CAR

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a chemical or mechanical background. You will be responsible for project management and engineering in a capital project environment, ensuring project planning and execution (incl. schedule and cost targets). 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage capital projects from pre-CAR planning to execution, ensuring performance, schedule, and cost goals are met.
• Conduct project engineering activities within capital projects.
• Coach and guide project team members.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert, fostering engineering processes and standards and providing training.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Business Fluent German
• Project Management Certification
• Preferred 5-10 years in CAPEX project planning and execution
• Experience managing multiple projects while tracking costs and schedules.
• Knowledge of unit operations (e.g., distillation, crystallisation, reaction technology) and related scientific principles.
