Lab Technician – Chemical or Biologics HPLC

Basel | Full-time (100%) | 9-month contract | On-site

Our client, a well-established analytical service provider supporting the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, is looking for a motivated Lab Technician to join their team. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to high-quality analytical testing in a GMP-regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine HPLC/UPLC analyses for release testing
• Conduct stability studies using various detector types (UV, RI, ELSD, CAD)
• Prepare mobile phases and execute analytical methods (purity and assay)
• Perform basic troubleshooting of analytical equipment
• Ensure strict adherence to GMP guidelines and quality standards

Requirements

• Completed laboratory apprenticeship or degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biotechnology
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in HPLC analytics and chromatography software (e.g., Chromeleon)
• GMP experience in a pharmaceutical environment
• Field focus: Biologics or Chemical
• Languages: English
