Regional Marketing Manager – EMEA & Emerging Markets

Type of Employment: Full-time

Location: Ideally based in France, flexible within the country

POSITION OVERVIEW

This is a regional marketing role with responsibility for downstream execution across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, India, and Latin America. The focus lies on adapting global strategies to local markets, supporting sales teams, and ensuring successful product launches and adoption.

The ideal candidate brings strong market understanding, clinical sensitivity, and experience working in highly regulated environments. A background in urology or therapeutic medical devices is highly desirable.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Adapt and execute global go-to-market strategies at the regional level
  • Tailor product messaging for local regulatory and cultural requirements
  • Drive product launches with region-specific campaigns and content
  • Gather market intelligence and insights from the field to refine strategies
  • Support clinical education and training activities for healthcare professionals
  • Organise and lead local scientific events and digital initiatives
  • Manage regional KOL relationships and facilitate clinical advocacy
  • Track competitor activity and adjust tactics accordingly
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure consistency in messaging and execution
  • Manage and report on the regional marketing budget

 

REQUIREMENTS

Professional Background

  • At least 5 years of experience in a regional or downstream marketing role within MedTech or life sciences
  • Proven experience in urology, medical robotics, or therapeutic devices
  • Familiarity with capital equipment and long sales cycles
  • Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare systems
  • Experience working in multicultural and matrixed organisations

 

Skills and Competencies

  • Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities across different regions
  • Experience working with KOLs and in clinical environments
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territories (~30–40%)

 

Education & Language Skills

  • Degree in engineering, life sciences, or a related technical field
  • Business fluency in English; other languages are an asset
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in marketing within emerging markets or across EMEA
  • Background in product localisation, messaging adaptation, and regulatory alignment
  • Understanding of market access and health economics in the medical device space
