Health and Safety Expert – Scandinavia 

Your mission is to ensure a safe construction site at our clients plant, while establishing the best practices for operational safety in production. 

Scope:

• Operational safety best practices in production.
• Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures compliant with legal standards for construction and production.
• Establish production safety best practices as a model for future facilities.
• Provide training and guidance on safety practices to staff.
• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
• Foster a strong safety culture on-site.
• Contribute to reducing LTIRs below industry standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Certifications such as NEBOSH or OSHA.
• At least 5 years of experience in similar roles, with prior roles in construction and manufacturing sectors preferred.
• Knowledge in risk assessment, safety compliance, emergency response planning, and environmental law.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with production, management, and engineering teams.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to managing safety initiatives.
