Clinical Development Director
Location: Basel
Contract: 6-month

We are seeking a Director of Clinical Development to lead the medical and strategic efforts behind ongoing evidence generation. This role is key to supporting market expansion and long-term product positioning.
Your Tasks:
- Drive the development and execution of evidence generation strategies to support commercialization and market access.
- Provide medical and scientific leadership ensuring seamless progression from late-stage development to post-marketing activities.
- Guide protocol development, study design, and clinical data interpretation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with regulatory, commercial, and market access teams to align clinical deliverables with business goals.
- Act as a senior expert and coach for the clinical development team, ensuring knowledge transfer and operational continuity from day one.
- Support internal decision-making with clinical insights and risk mitigation strategies.
- Represent Clinical Development in cross-functional leadership discussions.
- Directly oversee and contribute to trial execution, ensuring seamless progression from late-stage development to post-marketing activities.
Your Profile:
- Medical Doctor (MD).
- Extensive experience in clinical development, particularly in post-approval or late-phase (II/III) activities.
- Background in rare diseases, neurology, neuromuscular, or pediatric indications is a plus.
- Proven ability to translate clinical data into strategic evidence generation plans.
- Skilled in cross-functional collaboration with regulatory, market access, and commercial teams.
