Business Data Analyst

We are seeking a proactive Business Data Analyst for a 6-month project-based role. This position requires a professional with strong strategic insight to shape operational processes, analyze extensive datasets, and provide actionable solutions. The candidate will take initiative to drive strategic discussions and analyses

Your Tasks: 

• Strategic Operations Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to build and refine operational frameworks and processes based on business needs.
• Data Inventory & Proposals: Conduct in-depth analysis of overall data inventory, identifying gaps and generating proposals to optimize data usage.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Initiate conversations with key stakeholders to gather data requirements, address business questions, and proactively provide insights.
• Data Analysis: Analyze large sets of data (around 9000+ tables) using SQL and or Python to determine where to stop, add, or modify processes to meet business objectives.
• Project Management: Manage data-focused projects, ensuring timely analysis and communication of results to relevant stakeholders.

Your Profile:

• 5-8 years of experience in strategic data analysis or project-based data operations in a Pharma or Biotech environment.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience working with large data sets.
• Snowflake Expertise: Utilize Snowflake (or similar data warehousing tools) to manage, analyze, and interpret complex datasets effectively.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data insights into strategic decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and proactively address complex business challenges.
