Clinical Pharmacologist – 50%

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Clinical Pharmacologist to lead clinical pharmacology programs across all phases of clinical development. This role is central to shaping drug development strategies, providing scientific insights, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize therapies for rare diseases.

Your Tasks:

• Design and oversee pharmacokinetic (PK) and pharmacodynamic (PD) studies to evaluate drug behavior in diverse populations.
• Analyze and interpret complex clinical data, delivering reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to develop study protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Represent clinical pharmacology within clinical development teams, driving studies on intrinsic/extrinsic factors, PK/PD relationships, and drug–drug interactions.
• Apply quantitative pharmacology by integrating PK/PD, biology, pharmacology, toxicology, and biomarkers for dose optimization.
• Collaborate with external networks (academia, CROs, consortia) and stay current with scientific advances in drug development.

Your Profile:

• PharmD or PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in clinical pharmacology within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong expertise in pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and drug metabolism.
• Experience across multiple phases of clinical development.
  Proven ability to communicate complex data clearly, influence stakeholders, and work collaboratively.
• Prior experience representing clinical pharmacology in project teams.
• Experience managing bioanalytical and biomarker CROs.
• Experience interacting with health authorities on clinical pharmacology topics.
• Publication record in clinical pharmacology or modelling.
