Description

Our client is a growing CDMO close to Zürich that manufactures components for the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industry.
To strengthen their production team, they are looking for an Industrial Chemist to support the process development, scale-up, and process improvement in collaboration with the R&D department.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and technically lead assigned productions, guiding the production team

• Support process development, scale-up, and piloting of new manufacturing processes

• Maintain manufacturing documentation and ERP master data

• Identify and implement process and cost improvements in collaboration with R&D

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and cleanliness standards, including handling deviations and CAPAs

Requirements

• Degree in chemistry or chemical engineering; PhD a plus

• Several years’ experience in chemical or pharmaceutical production under GMP 

• Strong knowledge of chemical processes, including purification (HPLC) and lyophilization

• Skills in the Project Lead Function

• Fluent in German and English
