Senior Clinical Development Director 
Basel, Switzerland

We are seeking a Senior Director of Clinical Development to provide strategic leadership and scientific guidance. This is a critical interim position that will help align clinical efforts with commercial goals while ensuring continuity and knowledge transfer within the team.

  Your Tasks: 

• Lead the development and execution of evidence generation strategies to support commercialization and market access.
• Act as a senior expert and coach for the clinical development team, ensuring knowledge transfer and operational continuity from day one.
• Provide medical and scientific oversight across all stages of the program, from trial execution to post-marketing activities.
• Guide protocol development, study design, and clinical data interpretation.
• Collaborate closely with regulatory, commercial, and medical affairs to ensure strategic alignment.
• Support internal decision-making with clinical insights and risk mitigation strategies.
• Represent Clinical Development in cross-functional leadership discussions.
   

Your Profile:

• Medical Doctor (MD) degree.
• Extensive experience in clinical development, particularly in post-approval or late-phase activities
• Background in neuromuscular, neuroscience, or neurology is a must.
• Proven leadership in driving clinical programs and managing cross-functional teams.
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on, pragmatic mindset.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills; able to bring structure and guidance from day one.
