Role Summary
The IT Infrastructure Project Manager supports our clint in the planning and execution of complex infrastructure initiatives across regulated manufacturing and corporate IT environments. The role focuses on coordinating cross-functional technical teams and external vendors to deliver firewall deployments, data center migrations, and potentially an MES upgrade—on time, on budget, and without regulatory drama.
Key Responsibilities
● Lead end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure projects, including firewall rollouts, network security upgrades, and data center relocations or consolidations.
● Coordinate global and local stakeholders across IT Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Manufacturing IT, Quality, and external service providers.
● Manage project plans, dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies in highly controlled, GxP-relevant environments.
● Ensure infrastructure changes align with security standards, validation requirements, and change-control processes.
● Support or lead infrastructure-related workstreams within a potential MES upgrade, acting as the bridge between IT infrastructure and MES/application teams.
● Drive clear governance: status reporting, steering updates, decision tracking, and escalation where needed.
Required Profile
● Proven experience as an IT Infrastructure Project Manager in large enterprise or pharma / life-science environments.
● Strong hands-on exposure to network infrastructure, firewalls, data center operations, and migrations.
● Solid understanding of regulated environments (GxP, validation, change management).
● Experience working in complex, matrixed organizations with global stakeholders.
● Comfortable coordinating vendors, system integrators, and internal technical teams.
Nice to Have
● Exposure to MES platforms (e.g. Werum PAS-X, Opcenter, or similar) in manufacturing environments.
● Experience with cybersecurity programs in pharma or med-tech settings.
