Our client is a medium-sized pharmaceutical company engaged in the manufacture of drops, suspensions, ointments and gels.

Your will be responsible for:

– Administration, operation, and maintenance of the ICT infrastructure
– Planning, implementing and managing backup processes (e.g. Veeam, Shadow Protect, etc.) as well as creating and maintaining technical documentation
– Ensuring up-to-date virus protection programs
– Analyzing and resolving IT disruptions and inquiries (user support)
– Managing users and groups, the license inventory, and the Windows server environment
– Ordering of hardware and software, participation in small and medium-sized projects

Your profile:

– Vocational training or further training in the ITC sector and at least 5 years of experience in a comparable position
– Solid knowledge of:
        – common Microsoft server and client operating systems as well as in server virtualization (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V)
        – Administration of storage systems (NAS/SAN)
        – Hardware area (installation, configuration and maintenance of servers, PCs and printers)
        – IT security requirements
– Analytical skills to troubleshoot system issues and performance issues
– Fluent in English, proficiency in German is preferred
