headcount AG is a Zurich-based consultancy serving clients in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical technology, diagnostic, OTC and chemical market segments.

In 2020, we launched a contracting team which has developed well and we are looking for someone to take it to the next level.  The team currently stands at four people altogether, but we plan to grow it further and are now looking for an experienced manager to take on this challenge.

Your responsibilities: 

Management:

• Managing three direct reports
  • Continuous monitoring and updating of team process and development
  • Support your direct reports in achieving their financial and personal development goals
  • Ad hoc support for team members on pricing/candidate fit/client communication
• Strategic responsibility: Key Account Manager, Business Development
• Participate in biweekly leadership meetings, provide input from the contracting perspective and share business crucial information/proposals with the senior leaders
• Represent the contracting business internally in meetings around database changes, data health, marketing, events etc. as needed

Recruitment

• Full life cycle recruitment – from sourcing to placement and after care of candidates in temporary positions – this will not be a major aspect of the role, but it is expected that this manager leads by example
• Managing existing client relationships and requests
• Business Development: Introduce clients to headcount’s contracting service and ensure the establishment of new business relationships
• Client visits – including preparation of tailored presentations

Project related

• Developing  and tweaking of automations for Contracting specific candidate and client journeys as well as automating small tasks in the recruitment process in concert with our Digital team internally
• Oversee contracting related documentation for internal and external use (e.g contractor onboarding guide, recruiter handbook etc.)
• Strategic support for consultants that are building candidate pools in our CRM for specific jobs and categories through talent databases
• Participate in marketing activities as required
• Process and policy development for contracting

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience in temporary staffing/contracting in Life Sciences, preferably on the Swiss market
• Recent experience in Life Science recruitment (pharma, biotech, medtech)
• Line management experience
• An advanced degree in life sciences
• On site in Zürich Enge is a requirement
