Area Sales Manager DACH
Based in Germany

headcount AG is a Zurich-based consultancy serving clients in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical technology, diagnostic, OTC and chemical market segments.

Our Client is a growing Swiss startup based in Lausanne, Vaud. They are looking for a proactive Area Sales Manager DACH. They will drive our client’s to really develop and expand their successful product into the DACH region to position itself as a visionary leader and to achieve its revenue goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

_Manage customer relationships and represent their product
_Build their business within the DACH region, with a focus in Germany
_Organising frequent customer visits
_Grow and hire the sales team team
_Conducting market research
_Analyse the market competition, build a sales strategy and carry it out on the field
_Collaborate with upper management to optimize the Go-to-Market strategy for their sales roles and sales channels

REQUIREMENTS

_Extensive experience working with medical products – e.g CT Scanners, X-rays, Confocal Microscopy, Ultrasounds, etc.
_Extensive sales experience with a network within DACH, mainly Germany
_Willing to travel 60% of their time within the DACH region
_Medical network – hospitals, clinicians and surgeons
_Has worked in the OR room or Pathology labs
_Fluent in Germany and English
